| Mayfair Media Club gala screening of 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' |
 Film
producers, director, investors and entrepreneurs were invited to a
special gala screening of the newly released Fox Searchlight film
'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' by The Mayfair Media Club at the
iconic Mayfair Hotel in London on Thursday 23rd February 2012. Organised
by Parminder Vir OBE, guests included 'Bend It Like Beckham' film
director Gurinder Chadha and investment manager Nicola Horlick.

| KPMG Asian Festivals Dinner 2011 |
 Nina
Amin, Tax Partner at KPMG, one of the 'Big Four' accountancy and audit
firms in the UK, hosted a celebration of Asian Festivals on Wednesday
16th November 2011 at Riverside Park Plaza Hotel, London. Guests
included some of the wealthiest Asians in the UK: Lord G K Noon, Sriichand
and Gopichand Hinduja, Vijay & Bhikhu Patel of Waymade.

| British Sikh Association Awards 2011 |
 The
British Sikh Association, presented its annual awards to luminaries
from the Sikh faith at a dinner in London on Monday 14th November
2011. Lord Indrajeet Singh, the first turbaned peer in the House of
Lords and Channi Singh - described as the godfather of bhangra music
- founder of bhangra band 'Alaap' were among the recipients of awards.

House honoured Mr Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Group, with the Asian
Business Leaders’ Award 2011 at a dinner held at Banqueting House
on Monday 31st October 2011. Among those paying tribute to Mr Tata
were Deputy Prime Minister The Rt Hon. Nick Clegg, Stuart Gulliver,
Group Chief Executive of HSBC; Peter Sands, Group Chief Executive
of Standard Chartered Bank, Sir John Boyd and The Rt Hon. Oliver Letwin
MP.

| The Asian Awards 2011 Winners Announced |
 Acclaimed
urban music artist Jay Sean, Bollywood playback singer Asha Bhosle,
sitarist Ravi Shankar, boxer Amir Khan, cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan,
actress Meera Syal and the lead singer of rock band 'Queen', the late
Freddie Mercury were among those honoured at the Asian Awards 2011
on 18th October at The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane London.

celebrated his company receiving a third Queen's Award for Enterprise

 The
Federation of Patidar Associations (FPA) celebrated the achievements
of the British gujarati community with the inaugural FPA Awards on
Saturday 10th September 2011 at their flagship venue 'Patidar House'
in Wembley. Among those honoured were Lord Dolar Popat of Harrow,
CEO of TLC Group and Dr Chai Patel CBE (pictured), Chairman

investment banker Dixit Joshi threw a lavish leaving party for friends
and colleagues on the announcement of his departure to Hong Kong to
head-up Asian Equities for Deutsche Bank AG. The party, was held in
the Crystal Ballroom at the Mayfair Hotel, London on 18th June 2011
and was attended by veritable "who's who" of the Asian diaspora.

| Asian Women of Achievement Award Winners 2011 |
 The
accomplishments of ten pioneering Asian women were celebrated at the
Asian Women of Achievement Awards ceremony last night (19th May 2011)
attended by the Home Secretary Theresa May and wife of deputy prime
minister, Miriam Clegg. Among the winners were Dr Aisha K Gill (left),
senior lecturer in criminology at Roehampton University who is working
to provide research on criminal justice responses for UK women.

The ceremony, compered by BBC presenter Riz Lateef was attended by
the Home Secretary Theresa May, The Rt Hon Tessa Jowell, entrepreneur

by the film industry downturn that has seen a 25% across-the-board
slashing of public support from the UK government, Renu Patel of Kaybee
Pictures and Gaurang Doshi have united to launch a film company with
£300 million investment to produce quality global cinema. In
celebration, the pair threw a lavish pre-Cannes party on Sunday 8th
May 2011.

| Asian journalist launches 'Geek Nation', an insight into Indian Science |
Asian science journalist Angela Saini today launched her book 'Geek
Nation', a unique insight into Indian Science. Fittingly, the launch
was held at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London. Saini, explained
how she first got the idea for the book, "My dad worked as a
chemical engineer in India in the 1960s, just before India launched
its first satellite and just after Nehru had created his new universities.
My dad is a geek. I am a geek."
