Asian journalist offers £5K for stolen wedding pics
15th January 2011

Wersha BharadwaAsian journalist Wersha Bharadwa is seeking the stolen pictures of her recent wedding and is offering a £5,000 reward for their return. The images of Wersha & her husband Josh were stolen from the professional wedding photographer's house in Isleworth, Middlesex on Wednesday 7th January 2011. Wersha has also set up a Facebook page that members of the public can join to report any information about the stolen pictures and is working closely with The Hounslow Burglary squad team and has alerted Hounslow City Council recycling in a desperate attempt to retrieve them.

"I am completely distraught as I got married in August 2010 and hadn't chosen the final pictures for the wedding album. I am really upset for photographer about his studio equipment too but our wedding photos are completely irreplaceable. These photos mean the world to us and we are determined to get them back" said the erstwhile journalist "the general feeling is that the thieves probably don't know that they have the pictures, high resolution copies of which are probably on a computer hard disk and DVD."

Wersha & Josh"We don't have a single copy currently and this means we will never be able to experience the joy and importance of sharing the biggest day of our lives with our families and future children. I want to appeal to the thieves and to their hearts and consciences to do the right thing and hand the hard drive and DVDs back. Josh and I want them to know we are not angry with them, just hopeful that they will do the right thing and give us our happy, precious memories back. We are offering £5,000 for the return of our photos and urge everyone in the local Isleworth/ Hounslow area to be on the lookout for any dumped boxes of DVDs and also the hard drive. "
